Just saw A Serious Man, the newest movie in the Coen family. I really liked it, very coen-like. As usual the characters are a case-study themselves. Hopefully this picture helps understand just that.

Just watched Donnie Brasco for the first time. Great movie, great Depp and a rather sympathic Pacino. The first picture is from the 1973 movie “Serpico”.

Take a look at the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus starring Heath Leadger, yes – the dead one.
The film follows the leader of a travelling theatre troupe who, having made a deal with the Devil, takes audience members through a magical mirror to explore their imaginations.
As Ledger couldn’t complete the role they got Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law to portray transformations of the character. But the best part: Tom Waits is playing the Devil.
